The Department of Arabic prepares a teaching Plan for the 2019-2020 to 2022-23 session for smooth running of the departmental teaching-learning process. It also includes the extra curricular and research related activities. The faculty members have decided to follow the teaching plan from the beginning of the each session till the end of the that session in right spirit.


The primary objective is to provide the students both theoretical as well as practical knowledge and exposure about the various aspects of Teaching and Learning. By inserting the sense of co-operation and democratic values into their thinking and daily practices is another objective of the teaching plan.

Teaching Strategies

The class routine of the Department of Arabic has been attached herewith. The following methods or strategies have been used in the class-

The Department of Arabic encourages its students to read journals along with other books and magazines and to write research papers on relevant topics. It also encourages its students to prepare seminar papers and present them properly in Lecture and Interactive mood as well as with the help of power point. To make sharp the other talents and to prepare the  students  as socially responsible citizens.  Many other group activities like debates, discussions, preparation of the departmental wall magazine, guest lectures, seminars, workshops, fresher’s, farewell etc. have been in operation.

  • To understand the nature and developments of international politics.
  • To analyze History of Arabs, Conflicts and reforms.
  • To form critical evaluation of social, economic and political variables for a proper understanding of the plurality of Middle East society.
  • To build overall consciousness regarding Arabian political history and international relations.
  • To encourage a comprehensive and comparative understanding of Functional Arabic.
  • To develop knowledge of Arabic Language and Literature..
  • To examine Indo-Arab relations.
